We have plenty to be thankful for at the Rockhill Trolley Museum. We have a unique collection of trolley cars that we have preserved and all are stored indoors. We are in a wonderful location next to the historic East Broad Top Railroad. We have a dedicated core group of members that volunteer their time to make the museum what it is today. Our generous members and friends contribute funds to make projects possible at the museum.
While we are grateful for such generosity, the need for funding (and additional volunteers) never ends. We have a major track project coming up in 2023 involving a lot of switch timbers. Purchasing the switch timbers will require a huge outlay of funds and then, of course, many volunteers will be needed to install them properly.
The General Fund is what really keeps the lights on. It pays for the utilities and all the expenses for which the restricted funds cannot be used. We certainly appreciate your support for restricted projects’ funds, but please don’t forget to support our less glamorous day to day needs!
