Please consider supporting one or more of the ongoing restoration projects at the Rockhill Trolley Museum. Click the button below to donate online, or download and mail the attached form.
General Fund – The General Fund is the most important of the financial accounts. It pays the routine expenses necessary to keep the museum in operation and supports various programs around the museum site. In particular, a healthy general fund will allow additional improvements to occur to the museum’s equipment, grounds and buildings throughout 2026 and beyond.
Open Car 1875 – A visitor favorite, this car remains out of service until repairs to the trucks can be completed. Motor work is underway and the final invoice of approximately $34,700 should arrive shortly. Other invoices to reassemble the trucks and cover other aspects are anticipated. We hope wheels will be pressed onto the axles fairly soon. Your support will help keep this project moving towards completion.
Car 315 – All plans are to finish this car in 2026. The seats are close to completion and will cost a bit more than anticipated with additional materials being needed. Final detail painting and renumbering should be occurring soon. Donations of any size will help bring this project to a final conclusion.
Track and Wire Fund – New poles have been placed in the main Museum area to upgrade from the current poles that have been in place for decades, some likely as far back as the 1960s. Materials will be needed to transfer the trolley wire and for other improvements to the overhead. Please consider a donation help us to keep the trolley line in good conditions and the trolleys running.
