Take an open-air train ride, perfect for taking in the fresh spring air!
Passengers will depart the Historic Orbisonia Station for a round-trip excursion over the newly restored East Broad Top mainline through the scenic Aughwick Valley. Once back in the railyard, families can participate in an Easter egg hunt for a chance to find sweet treats or even some other special surprises.
Passengers will then transition to a trolley ride at the Rockhill Trolley Museum to meet the Easter Bunny and take home a special gift for each child. Enjoy a nostalgic tour aboard an antique electric streetcar past historic industrial ruins and steep mountain narrows alongside the picturesque Blacklog Creek. The entire experience will take approximately two hours to complete.
We will take all COVID-19 precautions for this event. Train and Trolley capacity has been reduced to 50% to allow for proper social distancing. Regular sanitizing of all public areas will occur, including train handrails, public restrooms, waiting areas, and event activity zones. Masks or facial coverings are required when on railroad property. Please self-evaluate for symptoms before arrival. If anyone in your party is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please do not attend.
While we strive to maintain all published itineraries, this event is subject to change in schedule or equipment at the East Broad Top Railroad or the Rockhill Trolley Museum’s discretion. The EBT or RTM reserves the right to cancel the event for any reason, including, but not limited to, inclement weather or mechanical problems. Safety is our number one priority.
