On August 17, 2001, the major portion of
our track extension project was declared
complete, when operation of electric cars
over the trackage commenced...
A handful of lucky volunteers joined motorman
(and museum member #2) T. Prowell, as he
took the controls of Johnstown #311 (our
museum's first trolley) to ride an electric
car to the new end of line.

passes the rock outcrop on the new trackage.
The sweeper is over 100 years old. We are
fairly certain the rocks are even older...
